'Veggie delite' can look to improve their recruitment process by investing more time into it. The can look for where they may be going wrong, which I think is that they are not looking for enough information in their aplication forms. They can sit down and have a team meeting and discuss the questions included. Here they can get more information from the candidate and ensure they are employing the right person with the right skills and qualities needed for the job.
They can also look at new forms of advertising as their only method of advertising is online. They can look to find new forms of advertising, I reccomend a newspaper, although expensive, if can bring a much wider range of candidates to consider for the vacancy. |
How can they improve the training of their staff?
I suggest 'Veggie Delite' look at new staff trainers. Currently, they use on the job training, which I think they should continue to use although look to using new staff to train employees.
A sencond thing I reccomend to do to take action, is they re-train all staff and teach them about customer satisfaction. Here, they can give future customers the best sandwich possible and also a reson to come back to their shop instead of competitors. This will boost profits for the company and bring in more custom who will send postivie messages to friends who can be potential custom. A third thing i reccomend they do, is employ the idea of 'Employee of the Month'. This can motivate staff to work well with custom, to earn a prive and a picture of them on the wall, to let custom know of their best employees. |
